Instructions on how to complete Video Identification

In this comprehensive guide, we will walk you through the step-by-step process of completing Ondato video identification seamlessly on both mobile phones and PCs. Whether you're using your smartphone or personal computer, our instructions will empower you to navigate the Ondato video identification process effortlessly. Mobile phones

1. Choose a document

When starting Ondato Video identification process, you have the freedom to choose which type of document you would like to use - Passport, ID Card or Residence permit.

Important: Make sure you have camera access enabled in your preferred browser

To enable camera access on your mobile phone, navigate to your device settings and locate the preferences for your chosen mobile browser application. Once there, select the 'Permissions' tab to manage camera access settings.

2. Take a picture of your document

Place your document on the table and take a photo with your phone. If you are using your passport, please show only the main page in the photo.

Important: Before taking the picture of the document:

  • Make sure it's visible in the frame

  • Make sure it's well lit without any shadows

  • Make sure it's in-focus and that the information is readable

3. Take a picture of yourself

In the next step of Ondato Video identification, you will be asked to take a picture of yourself. You will be provided with additional instructions in Ondato portal. Place your face in the middle of the frame and make sure that the image is sharp and not blurry or too dark. Try to have a neutral facial expression.

Important: Make sure your face is:

  • Visible in the frame

  • Well lit

  • In-focus

4. Verification is complete

After you accept the image quality, the images are encrypted and sent for verification. When you complete the verification, you will be automatically redirected back into the Saldo application.

PC and laptops

1. Choose a document

To enable camera access on your browser, click "Allow" on a browser message. Alternatively, if the pop-up doesn't show up, click on the "lock" icon near the browser URL input and select the camera permission from "Block" to "Allow".

2. Take a picture of your document

Hold your document in front of the camera and take a picture.

Important: Before taking the picture of the document make sure:

  • That it's visible in frame

  • That the information is easy to read

  • That the picture quality is good

  • Your fingers aren't covering important information

3. Take a picture of yourself

In the next step of Ondato Video identification, you will be asked to take a picture of yourself. You will be provided with additional instructions in Ondato portal.
