What will you do:

  • Execute and report on various audits in accordance with the annual internal audit plan.

  • Identify and evaluate risks across various banking operations (e.g., credit risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, and IT/cybersecurity).

  • Test the adequacy and operational effectiveness of internal controls, identifying gaps and recommending practical, value-added solutions.

  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports for senior management and the Audit Committee, detailing findings and actionable recommendations.

  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and regulatory mandates.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units on risk and control best practices without compromising audit independence.

What we expect:

  • Banking experience is mandatory.

  • University degree in business management, auditing, finance or economics.

  • At least 1 years work experience as an auditor or internal controller (experience in credit risk and finance risk management would be an advantage).

  • Excellent command of Lithuanian and English languages.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail to review large amounts of data.

  • Good critical-thinking skills to gather all of the available data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent research skills to find all related information needed.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets.

  • Internal audit certifications or qualifications are considered a strong advantage.

The salary range for this position is 2000 - 3000 EUR (gross) per month
