Loans Without UC

Looking for loans in Sweden? Saldo Bank offers a quick and secure revolving credit. We also offer customers the opportunity to apply for a loan without UC which protects your credit rating if you’re applying for more than one loan in Sweden in a short period of time.

UC, or Upplysningscentralen, is owned by the biggest Swedish banks. They have direct access to the register of UC and are able to monitor the loans you have applied for in the past. You might be marked as a high-risk customer, which can make it difficult for you to apply for bigger loans in Sweden when you plan to purchase a car, home or another big ticket item.

Saldo Bank is obligated by law to check your credit rating for loans in Sweden, however, we don’t use UC. We work with Dun & Bradstreet, a company that never shares data with third parties. This means that when you apply to borrow money Sweden’s biggest banks won’t know, so it won’t affect your creditworthiness. With Saldo Bank, it has never been easier to apply for a loan without UC.

What is UC (Upplysningscentralen) actually?

Upplysningscentralen translates from Swedish to ‘Information Center’, and is widely known as UC. The company was formed almost 40 years ago and today, is owned by Sweden's largest banks, i.e. Nordea, SEB, Swedbank, Handelsbanken, Danske Bank, and Länsförsäkringar Bank.

Upplysningscentralen is the largest credit information company in Sweden.

Various forms of financial information are provided by UC regarding an individual's debts and loans in Sweden. This information is collected by means of various registers provided by the Swedish Tax Agency and several other state-founded institutions.

Upplysningscentralen also offers various forms of international credit information. By charging a fee every time a company uses its register, it also makes it possible to conduct a quality-assured and competitive business.

How fast can you get a loan without UC?

When you apply for a loan by Saldo Bank and are approved, the money will be deposited into your bank account within a few minutes. Our service is fully automated, which means that you have the opportunity to apply for a loan in Sweden at any time of the day.

You can qualify for a loan without UC in with Saldo Bank, though we will carry out an individual credit check via Dun & Bradstreet. This is how we evaluate your repayment ability. For that reason, it is important that you provide accurate information provided during the application process. For example, you should ensure that your declared income with the Swedish Tax Agency is consistent with what you stated in your loan application.

If you apply for a loan in Sweden after the standard office hours, during the evening or on weekends, we will still process your application. You will also be able to find out whether it has been approved or not. In these cases, the money will be deposited into your account the following weekday as we are not able to deposit any funds for loans in Sweden into our customer’s bank accounts after office hours.

How much can I borrow without UC?

We evaluate all applications for loans on an individual basis, and create personalised offers for each of our customers. The loan amount you are applying for will be set against the income, expenses and debts specified during the application process.

If the outcome from these is positive, you will most likely be granted the amount you applied for. You can apply for a credit up to SEK 20 000 kr, but the higher the amount you apply for, the greater the demand we place on your private finances.

You’ll need to be able to prove that you are able to repay the amount within the stipulated time, including the various fees in the form of interest, setup fee and more. When you apply to borrow money from us, be sure to evaluate your financial situation to be sure you can afford to repay the loan.

How do we perform our credit checks at Saldo Bank?

Loans without UC can raise questions and concerns about your financial wellbeing.

Since the banks own Upplysningscentralen, they can quickly check up on how many UC requests have been made in your name for loans in Sweden and then use it as a basis when applying for a loan with them.

You don't have to worry about whether you will qualify for a loan despite many UC requests. Saldo Bank offers loans without UC. In other words, you get the opportunity to borrow money without a credit check from UC and don’t have to worry about negative reprisals.

Saldo Bank uses Dun & Bradstreet when checking the creditworthiness of our customers during the application process. These register extracts are not visible in the banks' registers and pose no risk to your overall credit rating.
